I just finished reading your delightful children’s book called Snaur the Magical Dragon, A Mystical, Magical Adventure. It was so inspiring to read a book filled with excitement and adventure. A great Aussie book. I’m looking forward to the next book and the adventures that Zac and his family get up to with Snaur

Dale, this is a wonderful story from a very impressive fertile imagination. The names you have chosen for your characters are fantastic. The story flows well, and although I’m older than your targeted audience, I’m sure your younger readers would be gripped by the adventures in it. I liked the way you included basic life lessons, some hidden in the text and some not. Also, there are some words your targeted audience may not understand, but I am aware of your teaching background and how you encourage your readers to seek to expand their knowledge—well done.

Dale Symons wrote this story for 10 to 17-year-olds; I am sure parents and grandparents will also enjoy reading the magic messages Dale weaves throughout her books. I am looking forward to more of her writings.

These are fantasy novels for kids centred in a safe family environment. The adventures of the children are nonetheless mind-blowing and exciting., Shades of “Never Ending Story”, told in an Aussie way.

The story began with interesting characters, all of whom had good values as individuals, good family values and respect for each other and the land. Dad is not dismissive of his son. Snaur has all the qualities of “goodness” and is tender and gentle despite his size and powers.’

After reading Dales's trilogy, SNAUR, The Magical Dragon, I was moved to write this testimonial. This is a lovely story with very likable main characters, who want to make the world a better place. Wisdom is one of The Pillars, but there are many pillars. Dale’s books are written magically in a way that a child can understand the messages they convey. The main message is the desire to make the world a better place—Good versus Evil. Within the story is the importance of our Ancestors, and Dale cleverly links this with the present generation, which is of great importance
